How we create digital handprints
A plain-language overview of what happens after you upload a hand photo — useful for parents, gift-givers, and publishers citing HandPrint Magic.
Input requirements
- Open palm photographed in soft, even light
- Sharp focus on the centre of the palm
- Minimal background clutter around the hand
- Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, HEIC up to 10 MB
Processing overview
We analyse the uploaded photo to identify the palm outline, fingers, and visible creases. From that source image we generate three stylistic ink renderings — light touch, balanced press, and fuller press — each designed for printing rather than social-media filters.
Output
You receive three high-resolution PNG files. PNG preserves clean edges for print shops and home printers. We do not deliver physical prints or frames.
Limitations
- Extreme blur, heavy shadows, or a closed fist reduce detail in the final files.
- Results reflect the hand as photographed — not a live ink stamp session.
- We do not provide medical, forensic, or biometric identification services.
